The Lincolnville Fire Department was formed in 1964 by the Town of Lincolnville.

 Communications

The LVRS Commuications Team provides technical commmunications, accountability and disaster Communications during major incidents. The Team members are FCC Licensed, NIMS Training & Wildland Fire Training to reach COMT, COML & RADO Qualifications.  

The LVRS Team also provides communications for the Towns Fire Department. The LFD & LVRS Rescue Squad is dispatched over (LVRS OPS) on the Palmetto Statewide 800 MHZ System. Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch Center dispatches for our agencies.
